Yesterday morning, my Uncle Jonas went to have a routine colonoscopy. During the procedure, the scope became caught and ripped a 3-inch tear in the wall of his colon. He was rushed to an emergency surgery, which, according to the doctor was the best case scenario for this worst case situation. They have started a blog to keep everyone posted.
