"Camping"

Luxury camping that is. This past weekend was spent in VA with some cousins on my Aunt and Uncles property. We cooked on the fire, made smores, played PP Frisbee, slept in tents through the crazy lighting/thunder storm. (Most of my tent was waterproof.) We also rode the tractor to a creek and sod farm where we relaxed on soft grass. My Uncle Aaron also started a brush fire. It was a great weekend!

Vacation

Florida was...relaxing, hot, and wet. And full of stops at starbucks and kilwins ice cream. I swam in the ocean. I swam in the pool. I laid in the sun. I played card games with my parents. I slept. I woke up. I repeated this all over again. I took pictures on one day. The end.

Even a bad day in in Florida...

...is a good day! Have you ever seen that commercial promoting Florida as a great vacation spot? It starts out with the sun shining and a beautiful beach full of beautiful people, laying on beautiful sand. Suddenly the sun vanishes behind a cloud casting a shadow on all this beautifulness, and everyone looks up to the sky aggravated and frustrated until a moment later, it emerges filling the beautiful beach with beautiful sunshine. It ends by saying, "Even a Bad day in Florida is better then everywhere else." (Or something similar.) Well, yesterday I was walking along a beautiful beach with the hot sun blasting down on me and suddenly it went behind a cloud. I looked up, slightly annoyed for a second before remembering this commercial and cracking up at the thought. After a great weekend of performing with such an incredible group of people, I jetted down south for a little vacation get-a-way. I feel like a mini celebrity. Wrapping up a show, hoping a plane that was empty, (thus creating the illusion of a private jet), and vacationing in a non touristy area on the beach that seems private. Only to fly home Friday in time for a cast party. What a life.

I'm off to watch a sunset. This picture is from last summer when I came here with LaVale and Cristian.
