Ketchup

Let's catch up...

One month ago I had the privilege to help execute a grand opening celebration for The Family Center of Gap. I met some great artists and bands like Brandon Heath, Nevertheless, Sonicflood, The Isacc's, and Reggie and Ladye Love. A large portion of my job was to organize the main concerts. The crowds were intimate, much to our surprise but the weekend was overall a success. Since then, I've continued working at The Family Center. Honestly, the job is awesome! Right now I'm planning three up coming events. More details to follow.

The weekend after the Grand Opening, I directed a short film, Broken. So many incredible Friends and family came out for two days to help make the film. I can't thank each one of them enough for all their time and talent that they donated, (and for putting up with me as I still learn how to balance being a Director, and a Friend.) Unfortunately my Apple G5 decided to crash as this most inconvenient time and I have not been able to edit one single frame.

In addition to the great opportunities I've had, I'm also working with Chabod Academy. Right now, I'm organizing a Dinner Theater Fundraiser which Janelle and I wrote the show for together based on a script she did a few years back. It will make you laugh, and I highly recommend coming out to support the Academy, see a great show, and eat a delicious meal. I'll post more details as we nail down the specifics. I'm also in a Street Art class at The Academy and had the chance to perform at The New Holland Fair this past weekend. Street is a new type of art that combines creative body movement and dance mixed with drama to tell a story. It's been a lot of fun.

I'm choosing to love every second these days. Yes, life is full, but it is full of great opportunities and amazing people.

Peace,
Gent
